Adding Pollution Data

You can enter pollutant data in Brightest. To do so, you'll select a pollutant type, pollution category, and classification.

Entering Pollution Data using the Add Tool

  1. Navigate to your asset's footprint data page, and select the Pollution tab.

  2. Select your Pollution Type(s) from the dropdown menu. Pollution types include:

  1. In the Pollution Historical Data Section, click on "Add Data" for each pollution type.

  2. Select the pollutant measurement metric.

  3. The Pollution Category Field will already be selected by default based on regulatory data, but if you would like to update it, use the drop-down menu to select your chosen pollution category.

  • Volatile organic compounds (VOCs)

  1. Enter the pollutant amount.

  2. Select the period interval for the data being added.

  3. (Optional) Attach documentation.

  4. Repeat steps 3 - 9 to enter data for each pollution type.

  5. Click "Save" or "Update".
