You can enter fuel data into Brightest based fuel type.

Entering Fuel Data using the Add Tool

1. Navigate to your asset's footprint data page, and select the Fuel tab.

2. Select your fuel types (you can select as many as needed). Fuel type options include:

Fuel types

Fuel types
Gasoline (vehicle)
Diesel
Biodiesel
Biofuel (plant-based)
Biogas
Propane
Coal
Combined heat and power
Electricity
Natural Gas
Welding gas - Carbon Dioxide
Jet Fuel
LNG
LPG
Marine fuel
Oil (petroleum)
Solar Thermal
Water, water heating, or hydroelectric
Other

1. In the Fuel Historical Data Section, click "Add Data" for each fuel type.

2. Select the metric unit for your data in the Metric dropdown menu.

3. (Optional) Select a custom fuel emissions factor that you've already added to your activity emissions factor library otherwise leave blank.

4. Enter the amount of fuel.

5. Select the period interval for the data being added.

6. (Optional) Attached an invoice.

7. Repeat steps 2 - 8 to enter data for each fuel type.

8. Click on "Update and Save Data"
