Add a KPI to a Goal

To add a KPI to a Goal, navigate to the Goals Module. A KPI can be added to a new or already existing goal.

In Goals, KPIs are linked to Targets. When you create a Goal, ensure the “Does your goal have specific targets?” field is enabled.

Fill out the target fields in the Target form. Target type indicates the type of data that is to be collected e.g. number, percentage, baseline, document etc. The target type must be compatible with the KPI metric unit.

Once you click save, the KPI will be linked to your Goal.

When creating a Target, the fields: Top metric, KPU or Measurement unit for Goal, Target date to achieve Goal and Target are required fields.

Custom KPIs are linked to Goal targets.
Select your custom KPI, note the Target Type must match the measurement unit of your KPI. e.g. Target type "number" so the KPI measurement unit should be "number".
